As the entire student body of New Haven's inter-district magnet school Metropolitan Business Academy anxiously awaits the arrival of its very own online paper one is forced to ask, "Where is the content?"
First-year advisor Mr. Monahan is baffled by the lack of submissions. "Initially I found the enthusiasm of the Metro's journalism students to be infectious and without end. I was very optimistic that our online paper was going to be the best in the district, if not the state of Connecticut." At the time of this posting there has been one article submitted on the school's new uniform policy.
What other articles would you like to see/read in this online paper and how can we get them up on the site by week's end?

I think that if we stay optimistic and enthusiastic we can probably have the best online paper in the district and maybe state
other articles i would like to see are posts about famous people and what they do in their lifetime.
I belive that if the students are willing to put the best foot fowerd and start understanding that this class is for the student body and not just the class. As for what I would turly wish to see in the paper is reviews on how good the school projects and programs are going. As well i would wish that it will consist of movie and outer social aspects that protain to students.
I think the newspaper should also include articles about events that are occuring in new haven (whether it be political or just anything recent.) Also, it should include articles pertaining to teens like fashion, music and sports so they would be interested in reading it.
Articles that I would like to see in the online paper is movie reviews, tv show reviews, up coming events at school, and fundraisers.
Metro Line should include things that teenagers are actually interested in reading.Reviews on movies and entertainment would be a good step into making it more relatable .
i think that the student body should be exited to do journalism and to work with mr.monahan
I think that the newspaper should not only be what our class is interested in; it should be what the teenagers in the school are interested in. There would be no point in making a newspaper online if noone is going to read it. So we should advertise this online newspaper alot! We need to get organized and actually start to work on this newspaper instead of sitting in class confused all day.
i think that the article should include what everyone wants to see , not just me and my group . Everyone... but i also think that people arent contributing like they should be . I tried to do what i had too but the website is confusing and not organizaed . If we all listened and participated instead of fooling around we could have a succesfull paper . We should also try to start this asap and get it around the school. evryone seems to be confused on what to do because we keep getting side tracked .

i think the newspapper should include things that happen in the community and things that we go thur on daily basis

I think the Metro Line should have articles teenagers can relate to. Reviews on movies and entertainment, clebrity news, or the latest fashion trends/news would be a good idea. Also, local sports articles and local (public) events, should be included to display to students what's going on in their city.

I think that if we make it mandatory for eachgroup to choose a leader and start every class in groups and have everyone report out what their working on and their progress then maybe we would be progressing a little.

What i wanna read about : current events , new school programs.
What i wanna write about : school programs and current events.
How we can accomplish this : if everyone cooperate and help pitch in.
a)i wanna read about whats going on in the school for ex: afterschool activities, programs, internships, teacher's upcoming fieldtrips etc.
b) i wanna write about student life, how studnets feel about the school's atmosphere and Metro in general.
c) we can get this done by starting to construct these ides in class.
